Geography

In Prep School, the children will learn all about the countries around the world, with detailed studies in to South America, the UK, North America, and Africa. Whilst they explore the countries, the children will also be taught about some of the key features of countries landscapes, including rivers, mountains, coasts, and rain forests.

While weather is taught lower down in the school, children in Prep School will learn about two important parts of the weather in more detail. These will be the water cycle, and natural disasters.

Global warming will be discussed in Year 6 in conjunction with Science.
