Park Hill School Admissions
Admissions
Please note that with effect from September 2010 Park Hill School will be a pre - preparatory school for children from 2 1/2 + to 7+ years of age.

We are flexible as to when each child joins Park Hill and believe that parents are the best judges of when their child is ready. Therefore, children may join our Early Years at any time from the term in which they turn 3 years old. At this stage children may attend for a minimum of 3 half days, building up to at least 5 sessions per week in the second term.

Park Hill is non selective and the children are not subjected to an assessment prior to joining at such a young age. We fully understand that each child is unique and as such will have the benefit of individual family and social influences; bringing various experiences to the enrichment of both the class group and the school as a whole. However, we do ask parents to inform us of any reasons or issues which may affect their child's school performance. For children joining us over the age of 5, where applicable, we ask for sight of a report from his or her previous school.

We strongly advise that all parents interested in their child joining Park Hill come to visit us, meet the staff and pupils and see the school in action. Applicants can be registered by completion of the form in the prospectus or the download from this page. Please then return the form with the registration fee to the Admissions Secretary.

The offer of a place is made in writing. Acceptance must also be in writing and accompanied by the deposit which is held by the school and repaid when the child leaves Park Hill and any outstanding accounts have been settled.

All admissions are subject to the school's registration and entry procedures and are at the Principal's discretion.
