Our Kindergarten class of four to five year olds enjoys a varied, topic based curriculum that encompasses the themes and principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage. We aim to provide a safe and stimulating environment where the children can develop and learn while building positive and caring relationships within the school community.

In addition to their Form Teacher, the children in Kindergarten benefit from learning through specialists in music, sport and French. The children also enjoy weekly football sessions and violin lessons delivered by visiting staff.

We take full advantage of our local environment and visit Richmond Park regularly to extend the children’s learning and development.

Kindergarten children also experience a variety of trips each year, usually arranged to compliment our topics. Recent outings have included The Polka Theatre, Natural History Museum, Bocketts Farm and Holly Lodge in Ricmond Park for a Minibeast Safari.

We are very fortunate to have the support of many parents who come along to help and share in the experience with the children on these trips.
