HOLIDAYS
Please ensure that you keep to the school holiday dates as any interruption to learning will put your child at a disadvantage.

Lessons are planned to cover the curriculum for the full academic year and any absence, particularly at the beginning or end of a term, may cause a child to miss the introduction to a new topic.  Once the early stages of a subject are missed, they are never quite made up.

All absences must be notified in writing; it is a legal requirement for schools to take the register twice a day and to know where pupils are at any given time.
