After School Activities
The Park Hill After School Club has been up and running for over 12 years and has proved to be an outstanding success amongst both pupils and parents alike. Many of our parents work full time and have found the club an invaluable asset.
The After School Club runs from Monday to Friday and children can be booked in until 4:45pm at a cost of £7 or until 5:45pm (5:30pm on Fridays) for £10.
The children have a supervised ‘run around’ at the end of the school day until 3:45pm when they return indoors to wash their hands ready for tea. The tea table offers a selection of treats including jacket potatoes, pizza, beans on toast, fresh fruit and yogurt. Great delight is taken by the children in sharing a piece of news over tea, often from the school day or perhaps about a forthcoming birthday.
It is time then for some outdoor playtime, weather permitting, before the older children settle down to homework and the little ones have fun with construction toys, games or colouring until it is time for them to go home.
