After School Club
The Park Hill After School Club has been up and running for over 12 years and has proved to be an outstanding success amongst both pupils and parents alike. Many of our parents work full time and have found the Club an invaluable asset.
The After School Club runs from Monday to Thursday and children can be booked in until 4.45 pm at a cost of £7 or until 5.45 pm for £10. Our timetable is as follows:
The children begin to arrive at 3.30 pm and when everyone is present, a register is taken. Circle Time follows, presided over by our Club Mascot Miss Quackers. Great delight is taken by the children in sharing a piece of news, often from the school day or perhaps letting us know about a forthcoming weekend or birthday treat.
Afterwards, the tea table offers a selection of treats e.g. jacket potatoes, sandwiches, scrambled eggs or beans on toast, pizzas, hot dogs, crisps, fresh fruit, cakes and drinks.
It is time then for some outdoor play before the older children settle down to homework and the little ones play board games, colouring or other table top activities.
New Members receive a warm welcome from our regulars and a certificate is given each term for our most helpful member.
